Priced a 2.0TDI GT on VW tonight and to get More or less the same spec as a 2.0TDI Scirocco will cost you an extra £500 for the 3 door Golf. :fall:

No Contest IMO.

I like the steering wheel and the dash but I'm not a fan of the Toerag rear lights and it looks a bit slab sided.

Yeah the new steering is nice especially the flat bottom GTI version, I prefer that over the one in the Scirocco.

When I saw the pics of the Scirocco interior, with it being an EOS rip off, I felt let down but when you use it and sit in the car it feels really well built and the EOS rip off look fits quite nicely, if only it had the new Climate control controls which are set for the 09 Golf.

I agree with all the comments here.

The dash looks good, love the steering wheel, like the front and the rear lights look terrible......

golfs are always a grower and i think the mk6 will be especially the gti, agree with comments made about the looks, given we have both in the houselhold i would say the golf is a practical car, the scirocco is semi practical car so the choice is deemed by what you what you need, i know what turned more heads though :)
