Hey everyone! So I still have this annoying buzz tizz going on with my turbo when decelerating upto a junction. I have the infamous clip fitted on the actuator arm and it did not work. Just wondering if anyone has managed to fix theirs? Mines a 2.0tsi GT. Not sure if I can adjust the actuator arm to take out the free play if this would work. When it was last up on the ramps the arm felt loose.
P.s its not heat shields before anyone says it
I wouldn't adjust it as obviously that would alter boost. don't touch it if you don't know what your doing.
I got the rattle aswell but its not that bad enough for m to be arsed to do anything about it
I wasn't going to adjust it to alter its settings I was merely going to take out the free play as it only does it off throttle and off boost with turbo fluctuation. It's so annoying and embaressing to drive its put me off the car. Might get it back up on the ramps tomorrow and have a play.
So the standard wastegate rod was non adjustable, I was able to nip the clamp I previously bought a bit tighter but it turns out the noise is the arm where it goes into the turbo itself, I can only imagine it's a new turbo to eliminate the annoying noise I have.
