VW Durham forgot to update me again... Bloody useless! Atleast the warranty have authorised the clutch plate replacement! Phew!

Got the car back. They replaced the clutch plates and the release bearing under warranty :).

Also noticed small scuffs on the black plastic bit under the bonnet. Where they must have leaned over the car.
But in VW Durham's defense they were very understanding.
They have offered to replace it for free and also repair the stone chips in the bonnet and the stone chip on my alloys for free as goodwill for miscommunication :)

Well it would seem that the led sidelight units I sent back to China last year got returned last month..
They wasn't even signed for. Just got returned. Seller has ignored every single email and message from the day I said they had been sent back. So with ebay not interested and seller ignoring me I'm stuck with faulty units.

So today I thought I'll try and fix them my self and in the process extend the connecter cables and make a more tidy job so it's sealed.

No before or during photos but will post some afters tomorrow. Both tested and working now as they should. Weather was terrible so haven't had chance to re fit them.

Yes they don't come cheap indeed. But if you want to make a custom switch it's also very handy.
They deliver the complete switch with a relay attached and wireing.

How was the fitment of that splitter? I also broke my ht autos one, does it use the same holes or do you need to make new ones?

The fitment was very easy, doesnt follow the same holes as the HTautos but just get yourself 10 self tapping screws from B&Q, £1.30 and they have pre drilled holes! I put a few others in to make sure :)

Cleaned the carbon outbthe inlet valves.

10 solid hours work, worth every minute.

Car has went from chugging like a tractor to purring like a kitty.
