Took her in for a major service! I still use VW for my services, even though I'm at almost 53k... They probably rip me off, but that stuff has saved me when it came to goodwill when I replaced my clutch!
Got a 1.0L VW UP! as a courtesy car - I think I might do a better job running everywhere instead

Looks like the bottom stripe is different stuff to the top one? Do you have a link to what you used at the bottom and advice for fitting it?

Think it's just the angle, and the bottom piece mounds around the bevel so looks thinner, was dead easy to do just tried to be steady and then heated with a hair drier to help fully stick it down, oh and used IPA before I applied it, obviously washed and dried it throughly before too.

Today Mr OCD removed the Scirocco and TDi badges for me, then detailed the rear tailgate and finished it off with Gtechniq crystal serum and EXO

Had a fight with the curb and came of worse! [emoji35] [emoji15] [emoji22]
Try the repair myself or get a pro to do it? I'm not sure how easy it will be to do, or what sort of kit I need, any ideas?

You could do it yourself if you wanted to save money but could suffer with corrosion in the future for the sake of 50 quid at any body shop really I'd say get them don't rightAJH wrote:Had a fight with the curb and came of worse! [emoji35] [emoji15] [emoji22]

Got her back from her service on Saturday (major service). Cost over £600 because I had my rear shocks changed... Car has gobbled up £1000+ this month - very expensive month, but I still love driving it. So C'est la vie

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Today i installed a wiper fluid level sensor. It's just a plug you can pull out of the washer fluid bottle and put the senor in.
You don't have to drill any holes. Routed the 2 wires behind the engine compartiment insulation to behind the battery box.
On a dsg there is a rubber stop you can take out, where the clutchpedal normally is. And you can guide the wires to the inside of the car.
This week im connecting it, 1 wire to ground and the other one has to be connected on the instrument cluster.
I used this guide to but the parts. Its around 30 euro's total for the vw parts.
