Installed mine about 5 weeks ago, was surprised how easy it was to fit, I did have someone helping as it's a tedious task on your own!
I didn't put the forge stickers on either, they look tacky!
I'm thinking of getting a TTS cover next to tidy up the bay, hydro dipped in carbon in the center with a gloss black outer should suit it nicely.
How do you find the cabin noise? It's rather loud... I though it would be quieter as it's a closed system but I guess when it has 2 cones it's going to increase the noise levels!
Loving the Twintake more and more!
Literally driving around with windows down, music off and flooring it on boost then snapping off the throttle to get a nice noise:D
Thanks mattyfitz, if it is a reliable seller, I will order the twintake for the R. It isn't a fake one or something? Because it is much cheaper than in stores .. If its all good, i will order it and use the tutorial from here
Alright, I took the courage to order it from de Ebay store! The only problem is that I have a delayed payment from paypal and the seller is on vacation I guess, so it will be the first or second week of January that I will receive the twintake
Finally installed the Twintake last weekend. It took some time to get things right, but the final result is perfect! the throttle response is way better and the sound is also nice!
I'm considering getting this part for my facelift model. I'm wondering if anyone knows will it fit as normal and is it an easy process to reverse to stock intake if I need to?

fitted one to my facelift R, fits exactly as it should! took about 30 minutes in the dark after work one night (as i was eager to put it on) now all the clamps and pipework are together i think i could be fitted and taken off in 5-10 mins
jees that's fast fittment! took me ages but never done it before and was nervous to be extra cautious.
after a week or two driving just check the fittings, might find they need a small amount of tightening as everything settles and has gone through a few expansion/contraction cycles.
It has since remained rock solid throught bumps n'all, I forget that the whole assembly is so light and well anchored.
