Dear all,

Wish to upgrade the side lamp to the LED type which similar to Scirocco R.

Can someone enlighten whether the default DRL can be swapped to the side lamp via VCDS?

In: Salsa Red
With a: Manual box
Options: multifunction steering wheel, fogs, 18" alloys; DAB; XDS activated, DRLs reset, lock beep activated; indicator repeat set to 4; covered cup holder, rear seat 12v socket installed. metal pedals, 210 Golf GTi also in the stable. Scirocco gone - miss it. Polo GTI now.

Spent a lot of time fiddling with DRL settings via VCDS and could not get the setting you are after to work - change DRL from headlight to sidelight on a MY 2011 roc. Not saying it cannot be done but don't think anyone on this forum has sorted it except via hard wiring solution.
