Today I was changing the motor oil and oil filter from my Scirocco and at the end I was reseting in the Board Computer the Service interval.
Although, instead of creating a new Long Life period of time (30000kms or 2 years) now it is only available the 15000kms or 1 year.
Do you know how can I change this again to the original Long Life configuration? I tryied with the VAS in the 17 Instruments and than Adaptation but I didn't find a Way to do it.
Is here in the forum any DIY showing the way to do that?

Manual service re-sets using the dash buttons always go to time and distance. There is probably a way to sort this out using VCDS....

Going to 17 Instruments and Adaptation, we have several diferent Channels. Two of them are what we want:
- SID- Maximum Value of distance to Service: defined 15000 and I changed to 30000 kms
- SID- Maximum Value of time to Service: defined 365 days and I changed to 730 days
All changed at Board Computer at the same time.
One interesting thing, is the Channel with reference:
- ESI- Oil Quality: that is defined Poor Oil Quality. I didnt change nothing here but I don't know if this has any impact since I used the 5W30 full sintetic oil according to the VW Norm for this car (with particule filter).
