Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
Intrigued to know if scirocco appears on the rear left, or is it just the VW badge?
Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
scirocco on left, vw centre, engine right, first time in last two cars i've left the badges on so everyone knows what it is

yes, but that is taking matters into your own hands

Just wondering what debadged means from the factory.
Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
no scirocco or engine reference, you still get the vw badge

Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
The bonnet badge sits in a recess about 2-3 mm deep so even debadged you would not have a flat bonnet.
Taken delivery : Silver, DSG, NAV, Black Leather, Park Sensors, Winter pack.

What badges are removed in the free deletion option?
Just the engine badge on the right of the boot.
But it seems the SCIROCCO badge is also removed with the factory option now

Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
Maybe its me but I can understand if you have a 1.4 removing the badge as its a way of hiding the identity of the car (the cheaper variant) but if you have the models that we have why would you hide that fact you have the top of the range car?

Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy

Cleaner lines & less obvious for twoc'ing ?
Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
Wouldn't say it made that much cleaner and if they are after the car removing a badge won't make that much difference eithershooms wrote:Cleaner lines & less obvious for twoc'ing ?

Re: Anybody got a debadged Scirocco yet?
Personally I don't see the point of badges - they just act as dirt trap.
To the non cognoscenti it's a Scirocco full stop.
I don't really care whether the rest of the world can work out which model I'm driving.
