Hi all. Just sat here wondering if anyone had put their 140 CR TDI on a rolling road to see what sort of figures it made as stock.
Reason I ask is that when I had my old MK5 Golf 2.0 GT TDI (140) with the older PD diesel lump, I did once have in on the rollers and was surprised to see it make 156bhp in stock form. I then subsequently heard it was quite common for the VW diesels to make more power than VW stated. Was just wondering if it was the same with the CR lump ?
Bog standard 2.0 tdi 140 power output ?

Does seem quite common for VW's to make extra power. Rolling roads are a bit of a lottery though. If you run your car on superchips dyno it'll probably be 200+ hp!
