The car can find the phone OK, but I keep getting the message 'phone not compatible'
I don't want to stream music etc....I just want to use the phone facility.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Still loving the car....I've had it 2 years now...(time flys!) ....and up to now, no probs. I've previously used an old Nokia N95, and it always worked perfectly...anyway....I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy S model number GT-S5360.
The car can find the phone OK, but I keep getting the message 'phone not compatible'
I don't want to stream music etc....I just want to use the phone facility.
Any help would be really appreciated.

The phone is telling you correctly. Its not on the VW lists, even recent builds. Don't know your build date. Samsung only get listed from Model Year 2011 (May 2010 start). The Nokia N95 is listed.
