Was doing some work on the car today, replacing the hub carrier when I noticed some minor issues with the car and just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced the issues.
1. The jack that comes with the vehicle eats into the bodywork when pushed towards it's hight limit
2. Windscreen wiper arm is showing signs of corrosion
3. Steering wheel is showing signs of leather cracking
Car issues - anyone had similar or known

Re: Car issues - anyone had similar or known
1: It is normal - as its only for emergencies
2: There is an extended warranty against rust (with limitations) - Try to have the dealer fix it
3: That should not happen - Do You have VERY dry hands? or do You leave the car in the sun daily? I don't think the dealer will fix this on warranty, but it is worth a shot. Else give it first leather conditioner/nurture then saddle grease.
PS It is easier to get a reply, if You are more specific in the subject title.

Thanks, already booked in for them to take a look at.
They did comment on the steering saying it was normal 'wear and tear' but I will wait to see what happens.
With reference to the oil light this does not come on at all when you turn the ignition for the first time. Although more concerning was the far that the dealer didn't know if it should or shouldn't.

Oil light doesn't come on with the Highline MFD on start-up. It only "messages" in the MFD if there is an oil problem with the oil warning lamp.yellowplum wrote:With reference to the oil light this does not come on at all when you turn the ignition for the first time. Oil light is only used on start-up by the Midline MFD in non-GT spec unless the option for Multi-Function Steering wheel was ordered like mine. Then it came with Highline MFD and no oil warning light at start-up.

Thanks for that, alarming that the dealer wasn't aware of that.
