Hi there,
Will be taking delivery of my Scirocco in a week or two and would be really interested to know if anyone knows about Bluetooth options. Dealer seems pretty hopeless!!!
I also declined the carpets preferring to wait for rubber. Do the Eos matts fit???
Thanks
Scott

Re: Bluetooth / Matts
There is no factory bluetooth option as yet for the Scirroco for some reason but the Parrot can be linked to the head unit so it mutes the radio when a call comes in.
Don't know about the Eos mats fitting but if you look at BlueScirooc1 posts he has bought some aftermarket ones.

Got my mats very impressed high quality for money. They have the VW fittings (actual VW parts).
Re: Bluetooth / Matts
the latest pricelist shows bluetooth is now a factory option so will no doubt there will be a dealer fit accessory option in the future, i am a little cautious on bluetooth given phone compatibility especially blackberries which does not like nokia kits at all, former colleagues have changed their nokia kits for parrot and really rate them

Small print in the price list states phones must be rSAP compatible for all functions to work. Don't know which phones are available with this.

Almost all Nokia's! iPhone and iPhone 3G are a big NO NO, Apple have known this issue for over a year, all it requires is a tweak to the firmware so the bluetooth accepts remote connections to access the phonebook only, but since Apple don't like to work with 3rd parties we won't see this any time soon.iroc wrote:Small print in the price list states phones must be rSAP compatible for all functions to work. I might still go for it, if its not too late, but I don't want to get it to find Apple will never fix this issue, as I have the 3G handset - But at the same time I don't want a button on my steering wheel that doesn't do anything - thats just silly.
Apple need to get their fingers out.
I have used Google to translate this wiki page from the German site, if you scroll down you can see a list of rSAP phones and non rSAP enabled phones...

Re: Bluetooth / Matts
The Bluetooth in my brothers TT works seamlessly with the iPhone, so I'm gonna go ahead and order the Bluetooth tomorrow.
