Wheel Spacers - GT to R

Post by JakeH »

Hi

Quick question: I've got wheel spacers on a 2.0 TSI GT and have upgraded to an R, is there any reason why the spacers from my GT would not fit on an R?

I've got the standard 18 inch interlagos wheels on the GT and the R has the 18 inch talladega wheels.

Probably a daft question I know but any advice is very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

JakeH - do you notice any handling issues with the spacers on, or does the car feel the same as it would without the spacers on?
cheers :)

Spacers widen the track and make the car handle better. Only slightly...

No handling issues - car has always felt absolutely fine with them on.

Any wheel arch clearance issues (any touching on hard cornering etc)

No nothing - had no problems whatsoever with the spacers on the GT.
