Electric Folding Mirrors

Does anyone know if these can be fitted on a second hand car? If so where can you get them changed?

Just read that post. I'm not that clever with wires and the likes so not sure if I would be confident attempting this!

The parts alone are nearly £300 too LOL, its not that hard to do but it does require the correct door controllers and then you need to remove the door cards, there isnt any wiring to speak of other than removing the old plug and putting the new one in, there is also VCDS coding required, VWCRUISE do it but the seem to want £850 for the job !, i think it cost me about £220 for the mirrors and £22 for the switch.

Well i gave them the part numbers, they know me quite well so are v helpfull, some TPS apparently dont deal with non trade customers, you can always get a good deal at the VW dealers if you are prepared to haggle
