This fantastic beach is Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire. But just what is the connection with my Roc and Russell Crowe? Any ideas? :?

Google says
If you’re coming on a summer holiday to Pembrokeshire be sure to take a trip to the glorious Freshwater West beach. It’s where the thrilling and brutal French invasion scene in the new Robin Hood film [in cinemas from Friday 14th May] was filmed.

Cheat! :)

I haven't even seen the film but that would have been my guess.

More snippets of useful info. Some scenes from the latest Harry Potter film were also filmed there, and when Russel Crowe treated some of the crew to a meal in a nearby pub, the bill came to £400ish - he gave them £1000 and told the staff to keep the change as a tip.

Here's another looking west towards the Castlemartin area. There was a big exercise going on with plenty of heavy firing on the tank ranges. My favourite road across the range was closed.
