Ordered mine today...

Post by Martyn »

I have just placed my order...

So Bye Bye Mk5 R32!

Spec as follows:

Scirocco 2.0l TSI
Deep Black
Truffle interior

With the following extras:

12 way electrically adjustable seats
Electrically foldable door mirrors
Smoking pack (I dont smoke but you get a cover on the ashtray)
Dynaudio soundpack - upgraded speakers and amp
Flat tyre indicator..

I got a stonking deal from my dealer and feel with the way the government is going with their anti car campain the scirocco is a sensible car....

Chuffed wouldn't be in it...

I won't be doing to much to this car - as set of KW lowering springs(20mm drop)

I think my 19" BBS CH's from my R32 will fit with spacers - Brilliant!!

Full milltek - manifold back (including sports cats)

New fuel pump and Bluefin remap (when available!)

That will do it!

Brave move Martyn! Are you over at R32OC ?

I love my Rocco but lately I keep grabbing my brothers R32 (Mk 5) keys just to get my weekly fix of that noise! Oh and 4 wheel drive is just about the best thing to have in this weather. But that said the interior and qulaity feel of the Scirocco just goes to prove that VW are moving forward everytime they release a new car :) also The scirocco just seems to have the edge in the looks department 8)

Good choice and nice selection of mods planned out there :)
Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy :)

Aye i'm on R32OC...

It is a brave move. But the way the government are becoming anti-car I believe its a sensible move!

I think I'm just getting to the point where I want a nice quiet car to drive to work everyday..

I've had 2 R32's now - Mk4 and Mk5..... so im happy to let go :)
