Dealer Vagcom Option Mod

My dealer said he can do some vagcom tweeking for me on pick up , what bits have u guys had done that u couldnt live without or wish you'd had done....

Im gonna ask for

Coming home lights
Windows up with rain sensor
Auto door lock on pull away
Reverse mirror

Coming home lights are standard, unless you mean changing them so you don't have to flash headlights to activate? In which case definately worth doing
Auto door lock should be set as standard
Reverse mirror, assuming you mean mirror down on reverse unless you've order folding mirrors unlikely this will work just by coding

The one, childish, thing I wish I could have on mine is the needle sweep - car's too old for it to be enabled.

There is a new one if the front wiper is active, when you put on reverse the rear wiper will wipe too.. Cool..

Well, when you reverse the cornering lights come on LOL, it gives good illumination in front of the car.

Ah thanks for that. I may be being thick (don't worry I am some times

), but out of interest, why would you need good illumination in "front" of the car when reversing ?

(Just trying to understand).

Well dont know about you but i like to see where my front end is going when i reverse, normal lights like xenons show up whats in front but not so much the sides, with the cornering lights enabled you get good view to the sides also, plus people can see you etc , its a bit gimmicky also i guess but i have to reverse down a slim unlit drive and i find it most useful

Can the Needle Sweep, Cornering Lights and Alarm Bleep all be turned on for MY2010 cars or MY2011 only?

MY2010 - only from week 45 2009 changes onwards for needle sweep
