After months of waiting, finally I should be getting my scirocco on Friday, fingers crossed!!
Only problem is the dealership are saying they won't be able to deliver as far as Scotland, dealership is based in Birmingham! I am getting this via a contract hire company.
So they are going to arrange for it to be delivered maybe at Carlisle and I can meet up there to pickup the car!
I have insisted that I would like it to be delivered here in Scotland but the earliest they can do this is mid December, the car is their at the dealership just now, and will be PDI'd by tomorrow.
I'm not sure whether to get a train and drive back my new roc 100 miles from Carlisle, having only test driven it before, and its a DSG. Not sure if this is a good thing driving in this weather.
Or maybe taking the trip to Birmingham to make sure the car is to my satisfaction, just to be on the safe side and driving back 300 miles.
Any advice here would be appreciated.
Thanks.

go to Birmingham! you would only regret it if you didn't drive your car for those first important miles.

treating the car how you want it to be treated from the outset... (running in carefully or driving like you stole it from day 1)
oh & obviously
