Just got my white roc back from the dealer af a paint repair (break in, broke window and damaged some paint by the door)
If I look very closely I can tell there is a slight tone difference in the white repair colour from the original paint. I this normal and will it go away after a few days (as the dealer says) OR have they just done a crappy job matching the colour?
If I can take a decent picture I will post it shortly.
By the way - there were LOADS of smaller damages they have also missed, so I do not find them all that credible....

Re: Noticable difference in paint repair
If this was an insurance job, maybe they have little to care.
I recall a repair on my old red honda after i had a small crash. To the naked eye and from a distance, it looks ok but over the years, the repaired front wing began to 'go pink' and has a much lighter shade against the door or bonnet.
there were more swirlmarks than it need to as well.
i was less aware of the effect of the UV, and less about paint sealants etc. so my own post repair care was almost none.
still, i felt the bodyshop appointed by the insurance company had just rushed it.
