Can anyone help, I have ordered my new Scirocco Gt today and after discovering the problem with the Iphones and the Factory Fit Bluetooth i cancelled this option. The dealer advised that the 2011 model are having improved technology and i did a little research and found this as attached. I have checked and the Iphones do support HFP technology which is great news for me. Does anyone know where you can get more infomation or pricing as the vw website doesn't have much or if anyone has a 2011 with the new phone prep if they could advise if it works, Thanks in advance, new to the site and its been really good to get some knowledge on the car

That's really useful info there sazzle01. Deserves to be in the "Tech Talk" topic rather than just the Scirocco R as it will of course apply to all the range. I was thinking of upgrading my Nokia E51 to an HTC Desire but the recent Android upgrade still doesn't support rSAP. Now if there's an alternative module available........

replacing the rsap box for one that does give full bluetooth functionality has been fully covered numerous times, the box is available from skoda.
also the revision of the factory fit bluetooth is covered in MY2011 upgrades in Scirocco News.

yes you are correct they are now providing the factory fit bluetooth as actual bluetooth not just rsap, i notice your list is actually the continental upgrades as in Britain the keyless entry option is not yet available. however as I understand the factory fit bluetooth is just that factory fit (pricing as per the VW website), not available as a retrofit.
