Hi,

Question, Does the GT TDi come with stanless exhaust tips standard or extra? Only i thought it was the TSi as the broucher said only TSi Petrol models can have them, but i wanted them so now i am a bit confused :shrug: :? :mad:

Please can someone shed some light on this please :)

so in addition to my previous post the TDi 170 it seems does, the TDi 140 does not but you can buy some from various places as has been mentioned in previous threads (above)

ahh okay cheers,

so it looks like GT 2.0 TDi 140 does not come with them :( :( :(

and based on a friends of mines, my TSI the chrome exhausts go black within 2 weeks and her TDi 170 chrome exhausts stay shiney!

Why is it the 170 TDi does, but the 140 TDi doesnt? What's the difference with the Exhaust meaning they won't supply it (Or is it just the case that they want to make differences between 140/170).

My "non GT" that I drive atm till my GT one arrives, is a 140 TDi with chrome exhausts - so surely they don't fit a difference exhaust on the 140 Non-GT against the GT?

Has anyone got a pic of the exhaust (or photo of the rear of the car) for a 140TDI GT? I am confused what the exhaust will look like?!

Hi there

I understood it that the 140's exhausts pointed downwards, where as the 170's are straight and can therefore take the TSi end caps.

I think you'll find it's straight on both (will look naff if they were bent downwards). Thought the diesel 140ps is 70mm diameter.

Here's one for a April 2010 registered Scirocco 140 TDi GT.
