Candy White DSG

Visited my dealer this morning and apparently they have had a customer swap from Scirocco R to a Golf R. (no, I dont get why either!) However, they are no doubt looking to get rid of the stock vehicle.

It is a candy white with DSG, not sure on the rest of the spec as I did not enquire any further.

I changed over to the golf mainly because i wanted the 4 motion, although they are both amazing cars ( I test drove the scircocco and loved it).

the spec is really good and it will look amazing.

Do you have a build week for your one, guess your next on the dealers list?

I thought you must be mad. I did consider the Golf but could not get the Scirocco looks out of my head.

I am an estimated week 27. I am already trying to curb my excitement.

yeah, the scirocco is a looker, I wasnt so sure about the golf until I saw it in the show room, in white with black wheels it certainly looks good.

good luck with the wait, I was waiting since the order books opened. its worth it though : )

Thanks Kash, I have finally collected your 'R' from Inchcape thanks to some superb intervention from VW customer services who bent over backwards to get me into the car. As I still have my original 'R' on order with the original dealer in Hampshire now confirmed build week 30 so expect delivery Aug/Sept - Anyone interested in this one please get in touch.

Golf is a cracking choice on the car having driven one last week, it drives like a 4wd GTI in terms of feel, something the S3 never quite managed to do, stonking point to point car, someone asked why i didn't give a right up, in reality lots just don't get it

hoping a dsg one will be on loan for a week when the GTI is packed off later in the summer, fingers crossed

Any chance of a few photos on the Golf R? Seen a few now, but white with black wheels must look good. Biased slightly though, lol.
