My Rising Blue Roc R's here at last!

Post by croydonvw »

After an agonising 4 months and 7 days wait, I finally picked up my Rising Blue Roc R yesterday and i'm absolutely over the moon with it :D :D

Swapping from a GT, the car drives and feels totally different, the difference in power is huge, but i'm trying hard not to thrash it until I've got 1000 miles on the clock, which in the day i've had it, has been very difficult.

I'll get some pics up later today or tomorrow

In some ways i think you appreciate the R more if you have had a GT before to realise how different it is :D

HI All,

Finally got time to take a few pics, I've not been able to put her down all week, managed to cover 600 miles without going anywhere far

The car is an absolute dream to drive, i've tried my best to keep it under 4k revs but i must admit, i've floored it a few times and it doesn't half shift.

ANyway, hope you like the pics, not even given her a proper clean yet, that's tomorrow's job

I've seen quite a few people having their cars detailed upon delivery. Can anyone give me a rough idea how much it costs to get this done cos I have absolutely zero idea!

Cheers

You might be as well to speak to our resident detailing gurus Autoperfection. There are lots of threads by them in the detailing section.

Can cost anywhere between £100 and £350 depending on what you want doing....i had it detailed inside and out and also the engine bay, the outside included clayin and waxed with top quality swiaavax devine, the inside fabric sctchgarded and leather treated, wndows rain-x'd, alloys cleaned and protected, all seals and rubbers protected and it cost me £250, not bad imo
