Did you notice the LED DRL of the Scirocco R in this video keep flashing?
Is it a feature or a defect?

I don't think LED in car is like bulb or fluorescent tube in AC current that will go on and off at high freqency.
Electrical experts please head up!

LEDs do flicker on and off very quickly. Try moving a LED source about quickly and you will get a strobe effect.

Car electrical systems are DC. Not AC. Look at any youtube video with a car with LED lights and you'll see them flashing. As the previous poster mentioned its due to the frame rate of the camera.
