may be coming back!!

Post by langlord »

Well having not really been on the site since the first month or so when it was first set up due to having to cancel my order due to financial issues it looks like I soon could be owning a Scirocco soon.

I have an appointment to look at a GT (170) tdi dsg later this week, the car is a little under 6 months old with 5K.

From discussions with the dealer (VW) they have indicated they will accept £24k. How does that sound to everyone?

Options are as follows:
metallic black
sat nav
19 luguna alloys
vienna leather
winter pack

I am of the view that it does not seem to bad seeing as pricing the car up with a broker the best price they could do new was £26,900 - full price £28,800.

It's not difficult to park but it helps. The hips are quite wide. They're not that expensive and with a bit of coaxing they might throw them in.

not bad - has it got the electric folding mirrors? As mentioned parking sensors (for me) are a must...
Enjoy!

From my experience having driven the Roc with and without sensors it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I didn't order them on mine in the end and I don't regret it.

If they throw them in then great, but if not, don't let it put you off a good deal. If you really struggle afterward, you can always retrofit.

If you're ready to buy, tell them you'll put deposit down there and then if they include parking sensors and accept 23k...
I'm very sure you'll be able to end up paying less than 24k...
