Talking Carl. Just to be very, very silly.
Around Me, so you can find anything you're after close to where you are (bars, coffee shops, ATMs etc)
Petrol Prices. Gives the best fuel prices within a chosen radius of where you are, or you can choose the location.
The other ones I use a lot are Amazon (which has a really useful tool where you can take a pic of something that you want and it'll keep it for you until you're ready to order), Local Concerts (which brings up all the local gigs within a selected radius, and even has special alerts for bands you've got in your iPhone), Facebook, Sky News, and ICanHasCheezburger (but only because that's the only way to get Failblog on your iPhone).
Shazam's fab, though apparently the newer version only allows you to find five songs a month, which is crap.

Worms! - Endless fun
Other than that, I use Facebook a lot and I also have the Navigon App to use as a SatNav in the car.

Re: I-Phone Apps Recommedations
Yep this is true. But it is only something like £2.99 maximum to upgrade to the Shazam Encore app which gives you unlimited song recognition. But obviously if you have one of the previous versions which was free and has no limit, then it sounds like you guys were lucky!Deb wrote:Shazam's fab, though apparently the newer version only allows you to find five songs a month, which is crap.

ebay, sky sports football centre, facebook, msn messenger, tv plus, quickoffice.
trapster - notified me of police presence on the a217 today.
if you commute into london like me then the trainline and underground map are handy.
oh, and you have to try the scirocco r 24hr challenge. It would be rude not too.

Dropbox - Safely store documents on all machines and read them on yor iPhone
Currency - Currency converter
Dictionary - from dictionary.com, also has a thesauras
Engadget - Tech Blog
Ebay Selling - Sell on ebay straight from your phone
Cineworld - Cinema listings, trailers etc.
Tv Guide
BBC iPlayer
Sky Mobile TV
BBC News
F1 2010
Sky News
Football Score Centre
Live Score - a lot faster than sky sports score centre, and is more likely to work in a stadium when every man and his iphone is hammering the limited mobile coverage.
Betfair
TrafficTV - live traffic information (just like traffic master), quite expensive but a must for any commuter or salesman

Ghost Cam - If you have a mrs (or mr) who is scared of ghosts this is brilliant. It allows you to add what looks like a genuine ghost to the photo - let the hilarity ensue!
