Do you know the differences between the bi-xenon headlights of GT and R? They have different part #.
In R, the DRL function of the headlights would be done by the LED lights below them. Beside this, what about the appearance and other functions?

Same appearance, but in the R you have the blinker where in the GT you have the DRL. And viceversa. That's all!

In a nutshell...
Std Scirocco Bi-Xenon headlights: Full beam, dipped beam + halogen day time running lights (turning signal is in a separate unit below the bumper)
R Scirocco Bi-Xenon headlights: Full beam, dipped beam, turning signal + Fog lights (LED day tiem running lights are in a separate unit below the bumper)
