I have taken delivery of my car and something i've noticed after parking it after a gental ride, ie not reved past 4000rpm. Water temp is at 90 Degrees, oil temp at 100 Degrees. After parking the car the cooling fan switches on for over a minute? Outside temp 25 Degrees.
Is this normal with other owners. I had a Golf 5GTI prior and the cooling fan only came on after driving the car really hard.
Should I be concerned or not?

Thanks, yes i'm South African based. It is 25 Celsius, but the is this a common issue as mentioned this had never happened before on my GTI the fan would rarely activate unless really driven hard.
