My new ambulance Scirocco

Post by roydburn »

Hi, thought you might like to see some pics of my new Scirocco 2.0Tdi GT. Ordered in July 2009 and only delivered in late December!

I am an officer with London Ambulance Service so the car is retro-fitted with full 999 kit by CTS Limited in London. Standard kit includes magnetic roof beacon, twin LED grille lights, wig-wags (headlight flashers) and twin LEDs inside the rear screen. Not obvious from the photos is the siren behind the lower grille with yelp, wail and piercer tones. All controlled from a Woodway Microlink control panel in the compartment to the right of the steering wheel.

Just a thought roydburn are you available to come to the meeting Gaydon? Then we'd only need a Reflex Silver to have a full house of colours I believe. Of course I'm sure people would like to play with your blue lights to! ;)

Details are here http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... =18&t=3986" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or you could PM trix.
