Just had my order confirmed as build week 9..ordered 17th October...im slowly going insane!

170 diesels do seem to be a tad longer. It will soon go.

i ordered mine on the 6th August and still havnt got it, got a call saying it likely to be february build week

I ordered mine late June and it's only this week turned up at the dealers. I will collect Friday next week. Thats over 6 months of waiting!

Ordered mine 10th December, now confirmed build week 8 (fingers crossed this does not slip), hopefully driving it before the end of March. It's a 170 TDi. I guess that is about 15 - 16 weeks. Standard time?

I ordered mine on the 30th December and I have just been told mine is build week 9. maybe the 1.4 is quicker for some reason

strange isnt it, must just be the whole dealer allocation issue and them not telling you they cant put the order in straight away.

my 1.4 was ordered 18th december i think and has an estimated delivery of 1st march which isnt too bad. as others have said it seems like the 170 diesel has a longer wait time - maybe it has high demand across the whole of the VW group, i think only the golf and roc use the 1.4 160 engine.
