this has been covered a million times before..
delivery will be roughtly 3-4 weeks after build complete (so you are looking at delivery to the dealer approx week 7) & you will be driving it as soon as they can pdi it & you can arrange the monies after that.

Trix.
Why do you get so upset when somone asks a question that has been asked before? Ive noticed you do this quite alot and you have been sarcastic with me before. If it upsets you dont reply and let somone else answer the questions..............

i don't get upset i merely point out its amazing what can be found looking through previous posts, in this case it may not be obviously found via the search tool hence i have still answered the question for slippy
Slippy
one other thing to point out is your dealer's system most likely only updates once a week so if they haven't previously done any extra leg work to find out info for you this is a crucial time to have your com number if you are able to get it & to ring vw customer service a few times during your build week (some have been known to ring once a day at least) as their system updates alot more regularly

Hey guys,
You need to be reading through this topic,
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... &start=500" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Pages 26 to 34 contains generally all the info and things we did as our Scirocco's came through the factory ordering system and to the UK recently. Timescales haven't generally changed but your individual order is private thing between you and the dealer so we can only second guess what will happen. If the dealer accesses the "right" VW system they can see what's happening daily.
So, grab your pile of jam butties and a big pot of tea and read through so you are upto speed with the right questions to ask your dealer and get a rule of thumb for some of the timings from what we have already been through and put up for you to follow.
Stay Cool, Wk03 ain't that far away. Have you got everything else in order cos things move pretty quickly once the car commits to build. eg. insurance, cherished registration transfer (if it applies), GAP insurance, accessories ordered you may want to add, selling the old car if you aren't px'ing and so on.

I wouldn't say trix was getting upset - in fact on most of the other car forums I frequent you would get a considerably less polite response to asking a question that has been covered many times - it is why there is a big search box at the top of the page after all
As for letting someone else answer the question - a role of a mod is to stop forums getting full of duplicate posts - if everyone with the same question posted a seperate thread it would soon become impossible to find anything.
