Scangauge

Post by Aptivo81 »

Hi!

First thing: sorry for my english, I am italian and I am looking for an info not present in "our" forum :)

So: I have a Scirocco 1.4 TSI 160hp and I am going to buy a Scangauge (http://www.scangauge.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) mainly for the reading of the oil temperature (and, if possible, pressure.. i don't know if there is a sensor for this). Does someone have already installed it without problems? Is possible to read basic informations like oil temp, water temp, boost pressure, etc?

Thank you!

try with fiscon... you get a bluetooth handsfree, some useful readings (oil temp), and it all works through the MFD and the steering wheel controls

Yes, I think that Kufatec is the better choice.. fiscon or the dedicated "tool" just for engine infos, without Blutooth (I prefer the classic headset): http://snipurl.com/ti33y. Thank you for the tip!
