Scirocco Central

Hi . Please help if you can. my one month old 2.0 Tdi is sitting on my drive blocking two other cars in!!!!! neither of the cars key fob will unlock the vehicle...
all the paperwork is inside the car so I would have to wait until tomorrow to call any dealers.....
Darn Great!!!!! Has anyone else had this happen.

Ive not had a VW for years and im not impressed as you can imagine............

should be able to get in with the key, think there is a cover on the drivers handle that comes off ( the bit that is fixed) its too cold to nip out and check mine

Yep check the drivers door handle, you will see that there is an end cap on the handle. Look on the underside of the handle, you will see a slot - use the key very carefully to prise this cap/cover off, and you will reveal a key lock which you can use to unlock the door! This is the official way to remove the cap, according to the Scirocco manual.

Same happened to mine a few weeks ago - although I did know about the hidden keyhole. Its been OK since.
