2012 Scirocco R

Hey fellas just curious about the difficulty of installing a trunk subwoofer (e.g. is it hard to pull up trim and wire everything through, do I need an upgraded head unit or at least an OEM upgrade)

Furthermore is necessary and difficult to upgrade the head unit. Also if I wanted to upgraded my door speakers is it hard to take the door trim off as well.

I'd like to do most the stuff myself and a friend of mine. We just installed a subwoofer system, and subsequently he learnt a lot of the wiring stuff that comes with it. I have been told its difficult trying to wire through my scirocco but I'd like your opinion, consider me a complete beginner to this stuff.
