Fog lights on auto mode help

Hi,

Is there a way to code the fog lights to stay on with headlights on auto mode?

My mk7 gti allowed me to pull the light switch whilst it’s on auto which turned on the fog lights and DRL during daytime and at night time the low beams and fogs.

Whereas my scirocco 2015 GT won’t let me pull out the stalk whilst on auto only allowing for low beams.

Is there a coding option or a replacement switch I can buy to get this functionality. Happy to also wire the fog light wire to the auto wire to keep it live if anyone’s done any work similar to such or can point me in the direction for a wiring diagram for the light switch

It's actually an offence in the UK to turn on front fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (visibility below 100m). Crazy I know, because front fogs create a low, wide beam, that doesn't dazzle anybody.

From the lighting switch, the front fog light wire is coloured white/yellow, and the auto lights wire is coloured violet
