Tail lights are on with ignition

Hi, have had a number of vag cars, but just noticed my scirocco taillights are on with the lights in the O position. If I turn to auto or sidelights the dash illuminates which seems normal. It’s a 2013, is it possible they have been coded on with the drls?

My fronts are on when I unlock the car in the dark. The headlights and tail lights are always on in the Auto setting and side lights stay on when you select the 0 setting. Not sure about the rears.
