Timing chain measurement CULC

Post by Blobby »

Any one of you possibly have OBD 11? Could you send me the readings of your cam phase positions (car needs to be running) It would be most appreciated, I am fearing the dreaded chain stretch :(

Mine is currently showing -3.7 with 32k miles on click (CULC)

I replaced the chain on my MK6 GTi at 70k miles and thought the gen 3 CULC would not have this issue…

Mine's a CAW engine. The value was +0.66 at 38k miles. I was told the tolerance is +/-5.

Hope that helps.
