Sumatra 2.0 Tsi only days away.....i hate the wait!

hey guys im new to this website.

didnt think i would need to be registering for this until early next year but I test drove a silver 2.0 Tsi last weekend with no immediate plan to order....until i drove it...

the car arrives in the dealership on wednesday - and the days are going SOOOO slow!

Have order a Sumatra - still havent seen it in the flesh but I have read a few posts from oethers who were a little worried about the colour and they all semm happy.

also gone for the panoramic sunroof (is it good?), sensors, black leather seats etc. whats the deal with the xenon lights, are they as standard on the GT?

Good news about your new car but I am intrigued to know how you have been able to source one so quickly, not uncommon for a 6 month waiting list now so that is a bit of a result !!

Yes, nice spec you have, I don't have the Panoramic roof but I think others are happy with theirs, it brightens up the interior nicely!

Xenons are not standard but very expensive option, over £800 I think, they have only recently been made available again after supply issues earlier in the year.

I am soooooo jealous you are getting it in a few days, i've been waiting 10 weeks so far & still got another 6-8 to go (probably alot nearer .

get some piccies up when it arrives, i'm intrigued to know what sumatra with a pano roof looks like.

hey trix and skippy, thanks for the welcome and useful information.

in terms of sourcing it, i went to the dealer in chester, told them i wanted a sumatra 2.0 and almost by coincidence there was a cancelled order THAT DAY for one with that spec. but it also had most of the extras on it too. usually i woudl never believe these "coincidences" but this time i really think it was what with the difficulties people have been experiencing with ordering one.

i surely will upload the pics once it arrives. lighting up the interior......never though of that! hahaha

oh, does anyone know just how much better the xenons are than the stock lights? ive not gone for the xenons due to the price but need some reassurance (not that i can do anything about it now....)
