Can anyone help me iv just installed the TPMS reset button but it doesn’t seem to work. I’m not sure if it’s the wiring or the coding. The wiring I did is

ESP button

I took out the following pins and placed them in the little black connector that comes with the kit.

ESP button Pin 3 Brown to pin 3 on the little black connector

ESP button Pin 6 Grey to pin 1 on the little black connector

ESP button Pin 5 green/purple to pin 2 on the little black connector (this is the wire I’m not sure about as iv seen someone with a golf mk6 use the black/green wire)

TPMS button

The wires where labelled:

Braun = brown
Grau = grey
Schwarz = black

Brown wire into pin 3 on the ESP button = Brown

Grey wire into pin 1 on the ESP button = Grey

Black to pin 5 on the ESP button = Green/purple

The coding I did was in the ABS module byte 16 bit 2 the code got accepted ok and flashed on my dash then off.

But I get an error code when I scan the car the code is 01325.

Be a great help if anyone knows what iv done wrong.

theres 2 codings you need to do not just one.

What’s the other code do you know it? The warning light came on today but the button didn’t do anything could that be because I haven’t fully coded it?
