Door warning lights

Does anyone know if the under door lights ( in my case reflectors) are enabled in the plug in the central controller? Of the doors( grey plug with pink locking catch. My 2015 rocco has reflectors fitted which I’ve replaced with puddle lights ( wired to connections 18/19 ) but they don’t work. Any suggestions ?? Do they need extra wiring to the connector or maybe they need activating via the OBD program?? Driving me crackers any help please,Ron.
