I'm trying to find out the correct tyre pressure for my car.
The fuel cap sticker says 35 or 39 psi for standard load but when I search most results are saying 33...
Tyres are 235 40 R 18 Y 95
Thanks.

Re: Tyre pressure
I don't own my Scirocco anymore, but from memory, I tended to inflate to 33-35 PSI. For sure if carrying a heavier load, occasionally I inflated to a little bit higher, but never did I inflate over 39.

Re: Tyre pressure
Personally as long as the original wheels are fitted, go by the sticker, that’s why it’s there. I work in a tyre centre and that’s what we go by (we also have the charts on the wall and info on our tablets and they usually match up)
Just make sure you go by the correct sizing as they do often put one sticker across various models so match your tyre size to the corresponding size on the chart.
