How do you change the D1S bulbs Scirocco R mk3

Looked under the bonnet at accessing the headlights but it doesn't look like a cap you just twist to open, how do I gain access to change the xenon bulbs ?

Take the light out and then the cap with the screws and the bulb.

So by that you mean unscrew the headlight to get to the cap which is screwed in ?

yeah that's it, I did mine the other week it was far easier with halogens

I have done it with and without taking the headlight assembly out. Honestly it is so much easier to take the headlight assembly out and really is no big deal.

Hope you're replacing with osram CBI:)
