I ordered a new car on Saturday only for them to turn around and tell me they cant do it because they stopped building it!!!

I'm about to cry!!!

Cling on to the hope that the dealership can do something.

I'm destroyed!!!

Well you can still get a low mileage car second used (might be even cheaper if it is still well cared for) if your really after one

Dropped my car off at kidlington vw last night and asked the service department I was dealing with about it being dropped. He said we haven't heard anything about it being dropped and are still taking orders.

I'll ring them up today and make sure they tell me what you've just said. It's the same garage I bought my new one from well if i can still get it.

I can confirm that they have stopped building them. They have a list of production orders and there will be no more that can be ordered. The dealership is trying to call around favors and amend an order from other Volkswagen's around their group.

I'm so pissed!!! It is looking very unlikely I'm going to be able to get the car that I have placed an order for now because literally all the cars that have been allocated to be built are next to done!
