6 Speed DSG Issues

Post by wadey210 »

Hi

I am having issues with my 2009 Scirocco DSG Gearbox and would like to know if anyone can shed any light on it for me.
Mileage: 61000 (DSG Oil and filter change at 59k when i bought the car for my own peace of mind)

The faults are when the box is hot usually after stop start traffic or sometimes after being driven for a while the car is jerky setting off from a standstill, jerky on the down shift from 2nd to 1st when coming to a stop where sometimes the revs will drop below regular idle and then once stopped will idle as normal. Can be very jerky n reverse also when hot.

Also sometimes when I first start the car from cold I will put it in D to pull forward in my drive I will then brake to a stop to check if I can pull out however while I am on the brake I can feel the car still trying to creep forward, This is just when cold though.

After reading some forums it seems most people assume most faults are due to the mechatronic however I personally think it could be clutch related.

Has experienced this or know what is causing it ?

Was the oil and filter changed with genuine VW Dsg oi?
Have you performed a mechatronic adaption? If not, then perform these steps, you will need Vagcom/VCDS and follow the steps on rosstech
