We've got a 2013 R Line, 3 years old this month it's white 22000 miles, DGS auto gearbox, excellent condition all round and thinking about a change. If I went into a VW garage tomorrow what sort of price should I expect to be looking for in part ex for another used VV.
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Car value
Depends upon what margin the dealer has on the car you're buying. Part Ex price is really irrelevant, it's the cost to change that's really important.
Put the details into WBAC and that will give you a rock bottom price to work from.

Also, not sure if your car is petrol or diesel.

Ballpark probably about £15K, but will vary as per Bob's comments above. Surprised about the ride quality comment, I have always thought it was very good especially considering the low profile tyres, but sounds like you have been overruled. :-)

Re: Car value
Just read your other posting where you mention ride and potholes. I'm on my third scirocco and have (last week) moved from an r-line 177 to a gt 184, mainly because I couldn't get on with 19inch wheels. I originally had a gt and knew how different the ride is and how potholes seem easier to drive over! Worth a thought?
