Does anyone know what these are called?

Post by gunnermatt »

Evening all,

On my scirocco i get a vibration at about 80mph, i think i've traced it to a missing rubber thing under the bonnet but i've got no idea what its called to buy a replacement.

In the pic you can see the one on the drivers side, but the passenger side one has fallen off... any help would be appreciated.

They're just bits of foam. Very much doubt they'd cause a vibration not being there.

You seriously need to give that a good clean dude. Rust trap if you don't!

Having pulled these off the other day in the process of adding the dual strut kit, the official VW Part numbers on mine are:

1K8 823 729 A

Hope that helps!

If they are still in good condition just buy some double sided tape and refit.
