Which 8 x 19 wheels and what tires?

Hello guys.

I've been searching around for summer wheels for my black Scirocco and now have 2 options, looking for opinions. The white Scirocco only has 18'' cause I couldn't find one with 19''.

1: VW Motorsport Wheels 8 x 19 in anthracite offset 41
2: OZ Ultraleggera 8 x 19 in matt graphite offset 35

For these sizes, should I be putting 225/35 or 235/35 tires on? How will they sit with the given offsets?

factory size for this car is 235/35/19

in general that's the ONLY size you can use, otherwise you'll throw out the rolling radius of your car, and affect speedo etc.

you could step down to 220/40/19 or go up to something like 245/30/19 but neither are likely to be as appropriate as the original factory size

had OZ alloys on my Celica and wasn't impressed with their durability, much prefer the look of the VW Motorsport wheels, 235/35/19 tyres ok
