hi,

new Scirocco R delivered today.

looking to find out how the welcome lights or follow me home lights are activated with the key fob anyone?

Headlight switch has to be set to Auto for them to work and the light level has to be low enough to trigger the sensor.

perfect cheers. just went dark and lights on auto it works thanks.

any way of setting them to come on at night when locking? follow me home lights? or is that in the convenience menu?

I think on the Scirocco you need to pull the light stalk when you get out the car to activate the coming home. Within the convenience menu you can change the timings of each.

To do that automaticaly you have to change 2 bits in module 09 with vcds, just search for it on the forum.

Really? No need to pull the stalk on mine, activated in the VCDS & it was job done.
