Can the key fob be set to open both doors??

Can I open both doors with one click?? I regularly leave my passenger standing locked out! Thanks for any help!

Yes you can. Access to this feature is available via your MFD menu, under "convenience" IIRC.

Yes, the MFD is the screen between the clocks.

If you have highline MFD display it can be changed in the convenience menu within settings.

If you don't have highline it can be changed using VCDS otherwise your stuck with 2 blips of the fob to open both doors.

I've the white MFD but cannot see the option to do this?

Double unlock does my head in... :D
VW Scirocco GT 170 in shadow blue metallic with vienna leather, cruise control, parking radar, nav, bluetooth and dynaudio sound system. Remapped and shortshift fitted.

I don't appear to have an option on the display-what is VCDS? Apologies for being slightly clueless!

VCDS is a dealer emulated tool (similar to the system the main dealers use). Plug a cable into your laptop, load the software, plug it into your car, and change many settings on your car, clear error codes, change configurations etc. Aslo (erroneously) called Vag Com by some people but Vag Com ceased to exist about 8 years ago when they changed the product and called it VCDS.

I have it here if you're oop north and can do the changes for you if you wish.
