Does anyone know if the daytime running lights for the 2016 model year R Line Scirocco is in the bumper or in the main headlight units?
I've seen images of both but the car I test drove had them in the bumper and they looked really dull, yellowy and not very bright where as the ones in the main headlight units looked great

The DRL are in the bumper, the bulbs are yellowish which is why I changed mine for LED'S

Oh! Not what I was hoping to hear. So what are the DRL I've seen in the main headlight units in some?
Was it easy to fit the LED's? Is it simply changing the bulb?

The ones in the main headlights are LED daytime lights, which are part of the Xenon option (see mine below).
The only model they come standard on is the R. You need to spec them as optional extras on all other models.
If you look closely, the small inner lights also light up as well as the outer 'eyelid' shape.
